Historic Hideaway Waterford City

Really comfortable, lovely décor. Great location for visiting the city.

Parking was a bit unclear but managed in the end!

Everything is very luxurious, well looked after and neat. All the pictures and descriptions fully apply.

We really missed a dishwasher. A small type could still fit in on the right part of the kitchen. Who wants to hand wash dishes on their holidays?

We booked last minute and as the property appeared to be a new listing on booking.com we were a little apprehensive but it exceeded our expectations! The place is so cozy and homely. Really appreciated the Netflix facility, especially on a wet Sunday evening. Beds were really comfy and it was nice and quiet, ensuring a good night's sleep. The kitchen was modern, clean and well stocked. The biscuit nibbles in the living room were a great touch!

A minor point, but the soap and body wash dispenser in the shower was ill-placed. A suggestion might be to position it on the wall of the shower nozzle. I knocked it with my elbow and it fell off the holder, and the contents spilled out all over the shower.

Thank you for a wonderful stay in a home from home setting. This boutique style house had every comfort we could wish for a short stay. We were there on a short break with friends but we all agreed we would be delighted to return for any other reason we might find ourselves in Waterford.

Lack of parking. A residential permit for a space near the house would provide for a more relaxing stay. 2 hour maximum on-street parking and an unmanned 24hr car park nearby was a disadvantage. Otherwise, a lovely house
