Studios at Fontainebleau Terrace

This is a very old place. In the lobby there is a promotional picture of a new car with a pretty young girl next to it with the Fontainebleau in the background and the new car is a 1965 Corvair. The place is in serious need of updating. There is no cleaning service during your stay. You have to take your old towels to the lobby and trade them in for new towels. In our room the box springs in the beds popped when you sat or laid on them. I hope that the management restores this place to its greater glory but for now it is not a good place to stay. I hate to say bad things about anyone or anything but I have to be honest also.

Well we arrived to find the hotel very dated as we had been told, but it was very evident when we seen that the marquee sign had blown away, and the letters on the sign revealed that it was our hotel. We walked past the front game room area and immediately noticed it through the window to be empty ( web site shows ping pong & pool tables?) we checked in and while trying to reach our room we found the elevator not in proper working order as the door was opening and closing randomly & had No air conditioning. We arrived at our room to find it clean and cozy, however the renovations were very cheap and shoddy at the most. The vanity light was burned out, and I called the Front Desk to report this right away. We went out to enjoy the beach a while expecting the light to be fixed when we returned, and it wasn't??? I took a light bulb out of one of the lamps and changed the bulb myself???? The next morning we seen the housekeeper outside the door and asked for more towels and told her she could skip the cleaning, and was told we needed to bring the dirty ones to the front desk to receive more, Also I quickly discovered that there was no ice machine, but the front desk would be glad to sell me some for $2.00 per bag. We went to enjoy the indoor pool and found out that they only had two tables for a full size pool, and only chairs to seat about six people???????? This hotel seems to be in the take your money mode, and are not real concerned with the property or guest service. I will without a doubt be looking elsewhere during my next visit to PBC. * Almost forgot that the ceiling tiles where flying up and down as the front door to the room was opened and closed, AND CURRENTLY IAM STILL WAITING FOR THAT LIGHT BULB TO BE CHANGED????????

Our stay at the hotel was pleasant. It is outdated to an extent and a bit small but cozy to say the least. The rooms here are individually owned, so some of them may be nicer and more updated than others. The beach was easily accesible and had a wonderful olympic sized pool. The elevators need some work...really slow. Our over all stay was pleasant and we would more than likely stay there again :-)

Middle of Front Beach Road, walk out onto the beach. Staff was friendly. There is only one elevator in the 7 story hotel. All balconies have a view of the ocean. Room was clean, however wall paper was pealing off the wall in the bathroom. Wifi was not working, pool was not heated as advertised. This hotel is showing it's age, but still ok for bugeting family. We will stay again.

Cons: There was no Wifi in the rooms. We were on the 6th floor & the elevator was broke down when we started & ended our vacation. It also broke down several times during our 4 day stay... beware you also have to pay over $300 if you'r e in it when it breaks! The entire building was out of date & a real eye sore to look at. We showed up at check-in time only to be told our room wasn't ready & they would call us in 30 minutes.. it was well past the 30 minutes when they called... They lied to our faces & said they tried to call us 4 minutes after we tried to check in , but we had left a home number with no v-mail so it wasn't their fault.. The only numbers on the account were cell phones we had in our hands that never rang!! The only pro I can see to this hotel was it's location.. It was right on the beach & it wasn't over crowded despite the 4th of July holiday. The hotel is also conveniently located near some family attractions and restaurants. All in all I would recommend you splurge on a better hotel!

The room is in need of some updating!! Had to pay $40 for cleaning fee, obviously they are making a killing on everyone paying that because the room wasn't clean. When we arrived the hotel had no electricity and the hotel clerk was not very friendly about it. He just laughed while standing outside smoking a cigarette stating you will just have to find something else to do for about an hour and a half or until they get the electricity back on because I can't do anything for you. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone else.

The hotel did not have ample parking. In the 5 days we stayed we only parked in the hotel parking lot 2 times. The remainder of the time, we had to park on the street. The pull out sofa bed was broken, the springs at the end of the bed was broken, we had to put pillows under the mattress to be able to use the bed.

i can only comment on room#233,all rooms are different,our room was not smoke free as told upfront.smoke alarm did not work,2 lightbulbs were out,hole in the drop ceiling in bathroom,and drop ceiling not set in bedroom,everything way outdated and was hard to get into room with keys this is for a family of low class that smokes or for young teens who only need a great feeling bed with nice a/c and that smokes.overall 40.00 cleaning fee added to your price of stay which is stupid when they tell you 1/2 the work has to be done before checking out....recommended for smoling teenage kids only.dishes were dirty that were put up as if clean.

The location was perfect but the shower curtain was covered in mildew. The staff/website lied about wifi/internet being avalible. No room service avalible. If you can afford it go for a nicer hotel!

the rooms real dirty, the receptionist so rude, definitly really bad service for the price,
