We have stayed in various apartments in Saltaire this was by far the best we have stayed in, exceptional well presented and equipped, spotlessly clean, everything has been thought of for your comfort, would highly recommend,.

Good location, 10 minutes walk from Saltaire. Also the accommodation was clean and tidy, with great views.

Parking facilities were not straightforward. I was led to believe that parking would be arranged as part of the price. However, on arriving, we had to download an app and pay £35 to park our car for the week.

The location was good and the flat was spacious for 2 people. It was clean and there were plenty of clean towels and pillows. The kitchen was quite well equipped and we were able to cook proper meals. Tea and coffee were provided and there were herbs and spices, oil, sugar, etc which had been left by previous inhabitants. There wasn't any milk, though, so you need to bring some. The internet was excellent and the host did keep in touch via texts. The bed was comfy, though softer than we usually like. The view from the windows was magnificent!

1. The parking was stressful. When I originally booked, months ago, I chose this flat because the parking was in the complex and free. 2 days before setting off, we learned it was no longer free and we were advised to book a space in advance using a special' app'. My husband rang the parking organisation and they said we didn't need to book in advance. We were told again that we needed to book in advance, so my husband followed instructions on his phone and paid £15 for the weekend. After paying, he was then told he could not leave the car park and re-enter during the weekend! That meant he couldn't drive into the hills and go for a run! I realise that it isn't the fault of the host that free parking was withdrawn, but the whole procedure was really difficult for us to use. Perhaps the host could find a way of arranging parking for guests and including this in the price? 2. The whole flat is electric. This means that the hot water runs out quickly, so don't expect to have long showers, especially if there are 2 of you! We could not get the bathroom electric towel rail to work, but eventually, I discovered a switch, outside the bathroom, low down near the entrance. Non of the electric radiators in the flat worked and we were a bit chilly at night. Luckily, my husband used to be an electrician, and he soon found they had been switched off at the fuse box! We got 2 of them working, but the living room one was actually broken (we checked the fuse but it wasn't the problem) In winter the living room would be cold. 3 Finally, there were electric air fresheners all over the place, which I unplugged because they affect my asthma. I opened the windows instead!
