Valletta Bastions Seafront House

Great location, in the center of the old town. Great layout of rooms with kitchen and living room on different floors. Beautiful views from both terraces. Excellent contact with the owner. It was a great stay for us in Vallatta. We recommend the place in every respect!

Great views from top floor. Location good (apart from road noise). Host responded promptly to issues raised, including provision of tea towels. Coffee machine and capsules provided. Well stocked with toilet rolls. There was Wi-Fi, despite the website information indicating the contrary.

Not enough hot water. Steep stairways which led to some slips. No sound insulation in bedrooms, so the road noise is significant especially at night. Unironed sheets; only one small bath towel per person. Furniture generally below the standard expected, given the website descriptions referring to luxury and elegance. No TV channels were accessible (although Netflix was available). Some electric devices (lamps, mainly) were equipped with2-pin plugs that weren’t compatible with the 3-pin sockets.

This is a beautiful apartment in an amazing location, overlooking the Valletta bastions and the sea. I think once the host fixes a few issues, it is going to be a stunning rental.

The property has 3 levels (plus roof), each separated by steep stairs-- this apartment is not suitable for anyone who cannot climb steep stairs. There were plumbing issues, and we weren't able to take a shower. One shower had no pressure, the other was in a small child-sized bathtub. The toilet in one bathroom leaked and the sink in the other bathroom leaked.
