Ristorante francamente da dimenticare

La struttura è immersa nel verde, quindi silenziosissima, la piscina è bellissima e la camera pulita e spaziosa. Per essere una struttura piccola, la colazione è assolutamente adeguata e molto buona ed è inoltre presente un ristorante dove poter consumare un light lunch o un’ ottima cena. Il personale è gentilissimo e molto preparato.

Geweldige ervaring in deze Masseria. Enkel maar lof voor Gabriela en Sarah die deze plek runnen. Ze spreken perfect Engels en staan altijd voor je klaar. De kamer (Lorenzo) was meer dan ruim genoeg, had airco en nette badkamer. De plek is echt wel een oase van rust... Het zwembad is heerlijk (zo groot!!!), de ligstoelen geweldig en je kan er in alle rust genieten. Lecce is op 15' rijden. Heel veel te doen daar, ook heel veel restaurants, hoewel ik toch zou aanraden om eens te eten (deden wij 3x in één week) in de Masseria zelf. Chef-kok Carlo is TOP ! De prijzen zijn meer dan normaal, de wijntjes zijn lekker! Het ontbijt is dagelijks hetzelfde maar zelfs na een week blijft dit lekker ! De broodjes (zelf gemaakt!) zijn overheerlijk, er is vers fruit, yohurt, pancakes, taartjes, cake, kaas, hesp, etc... ook verschillende soorten koffie, fruitsap etc. Het hoogtepunt van de reis beleefden we tijdens onze cooking-experience. We waren gek van de pasticciotto. Dit is een lokaal 'taartje' (zie foto's) met citroencrème van binnen. Dit wilden we wel kunnen maken. We volgen dus een kookles met chefkok Carlo. Dit was onvergetelijk. Je krijgt het recept en hij doet alles voor voor jou. Heel leuk om thuis opnieuw te proberen en te denken aan onze mooie tijd in Puglia. Naast dit dessertje kon je ook nog leren brood bakken of pasta maken. ZEKER doen als je er zijt, is echt heel leuk !

Excelente opción para alojarse en una Masseria y estar bien conectado para visitar Lecce a 15 min y Otranto a 40 min. Sara nos ha brindado una atención exquisita ayudándonos con todo. La piscina es muy buena y las habitaciones amplias y muy cómodas.

Bathroom design is awkward because of the shower cabin size and proximity of the toilet to the wall, but of course that is somewhat hard to change. Better (plastic) glasses to make drinking a glass of wine or other drinks outside the restaurant a better experience, would be good.

Masseria Chicco Rizzo was absolutely perfect! It’s in a convenient location to serve as a base for day trips and that’s exactly what we did on the first day, but everything was so comfortable at the property, that we didn’t leave at all the second day! We relaxed by the pool and had amazing meals at the restaurant. Gabriela and Stefano took such great care of us! My husband and I are both vegan and Stefano made us a delicious vegan cake for breakfast and incredible gnocchi for dinner. They really went out of their way to make our stay outstanding and we definitely hope to visit again in the future!
