La propriétaire qui m'a agressée verbalement. Je visite la .Nouvelle Zelande avec 2 amis. Nous avons loué une trentaine de logements différents avec booking et cela s'est toujours bien passé. Cette fois ci j'ai demandé à louer une chambre pour moi dans la maison car le confort du cabanon de jardinétait vraiment précaire. La propriétaire peu aimable m'a carrement agressée verbalement parce que j'avaisfrappé à sa porte pour lui demander mon linge que j'avais donnéà laver. Je précise que j'ai 73 ans que je suis une femme et que je suis handicapèe physiquement. Il était un peu plus de 20h. Nous avons trouvé les Néozélandais. charmants et respectueux des autres. Dans cecas je ne comprends pas l'attitude de cette femme qui à mon avis ne devrait pas accueillir des gens dans sa maiso

Die Besitzerin ist sehr nett und die Gegend ist schön. Auch der Garten ist liebevoll gestaltet, aber Gartenmöbel waren leider dreckig und daher nicht wirklich einladend.

Man schläft in einem Stockbett in einer sehr kleinen Gartenlaube. Das war uns ehrlich gesagt nicht so bewusst. Man muss durch den gesamten garten, um auf die Toilette zu gehen und leider lag überall Hundekot. Zudem hatten wir kaum Platz und keine Ablagemöglichkeit für unsere Rucksäcke. Für eine Nacht ging es.

The location was perfect--literally across the street from shops and cafes. The property has a lovely yard with a covered patio, outdoor kitchen, extensive garden which you are welcome to graze from, and friendly host dogs. The home was beautifully decorated and the setting is extremely peaceful. The owner is very accomodating to her guests and is very helpful to travelers. We enjoyed chatting with some of the other guests staying on-site.

Because we were traveling I didn't receive the check-in instructions before we arrived, so it wasn't clear where to park and how to check in (park in the driveway, just go straight through the back gate, and your name will be on your room), so my first interaction with the host was a bit puzzling. The accomodations themselves, while very clean, comfortable and innovative, they are very small (which was evident in the pictures--no surprises there). There are two mini-cabins in the yard and one room in the house available for guests, however there's only one bathroom for all the guests plus the owner of the home to share, located in the main house. You have to go into the owner's home to use the bathroom. This wasn't a big deal for us, but could be for others.
