Tairua Garden Hideaway - Homestay with Private Room

There’s such a peaceful vibe in the hideaway with a blooming Garden, hidden bookshelf bathroom, and sweet dogs. The little huts are clean and functional and give you more privacy than a hostel or hotel but with the benefit of shared social spaces with the other guests and local tips from Penny. It had everything I needed and more, and Penny helped me out of a pretty tight spot out of goodwill as well. I’ll have great memories from Tairua.

Literally nothing

I stayed in the room that's in the house and it was so lovely. The bed was very comfortable. The gardens were beautiful and one day Penny gave me a couple of ripe passion fruit from the vine to have with my breakfast. The food trucks across the street are great. The local beach is nice and you're not far from cathedral cove and hot water beach. Paku summit is great for views and sunrise. The dogs are so cute and cuddly.

The town doesn't have a real grocery store, so it's good to pick up anything you might need on your way there. The food trucks are closed two or three days a week.

Great bathroom and toilet. Good mattresses and awesome bbq and veranda.

Penny was very welcoming and showed us the facilities - she had also written different recommendations in the room for the area. The outdoor kitchen was very nice, and if the weather had been better on the day we stayed, it would have been great to take advantage of the lovely garden.

The top bunkbed was a bit difficult to get up to, and there wasn't a lot of space to the ceiling. The bathroom was nice, but is in the mainhouse, which didn't bother us, but might others

Super niedliches Hostel,man merkt das hier alles mit Liebe gemacht wird. Es ist super sauber und man fühlt sich einfach wohl. Die Gastgeberin ist auch super lieb. Man hat in der Outdoor Küche eigentlich alles was man so benötigt.

Ein zweiter Topf wäre super gewesen,aber da lässt sich im Zweifel auch eine Lösung finden.
