Tairua Garden Hideaway - Homestay with Private Room

We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. You could not beat the location. Penny is always available and helpful, yet she gives you privacy. She offered our children to feed the chicken and shared her knowledge and stories about them which was very nice. We enjoyed having access to the shared outdoor lounge and kitchen, even with the rain as it is covered. The house has very nice touches, we absolutely loved the bathroom and shower! It's a special place.

It would have been great to have a toaster, we had to use the pan to toast our bread. Also it felt clean enough but a bit more care and deep cleaning overall would be enjoyable (i.e. brooming the patio, emptying the rubish more often or keeping the outdoor furniture a bit more clean). Also we read the description and knew there were dogs, and they made our kids super happy but you need to be aware that they spend most of their time outside so they are almost always around you, whether you chill on the couch or have your meal.

What a great location! Ideal for walking everywhere to eat, shop, explore!

Es war alles sehr schmutzig und hatte Hundekot auf den Weg. Küchenbereich unbrauchbar und schmutzig. Der Empfang war sehr unfreundlich.

So cute! I loved my stay here, instructions were clear and being able to meet the dogs really made my stay amazing :)
