Three Palms Hotel

I booked this place in advance. When I turned up, there was nobody available to let me in. I rang them, and after a few attempts, I got through. I was told that they were an hour away and that they would have to cancel my booking. This was at 19:00 in the evening. I had to drive around the area to find something else. I ended up paying far more money in the end to get somewhere else. Very unhappy experience. Would never use again.

The owners were really friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The room was clean, homely and comfortable. Great value for money and within a couple of minutes’ walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. And parking onsite was free. Will definitely stay again!

We recently had the misfortune of staying at this hotel for a special anniversary weekend We paid extra for a deluxe room as it was a special occasion so imagine our disappointment when we were shown to a dingy dark room in a revolting dark green. The rubbish in our room and on the landing was not emptied nor the hospitality tray restocked. All in all a total disaster.the en-suite was basically a cupboard the door had no lock on and a big gap all the way down so no privacy , shower tray still had shower gel spilt on it from previous visitors and dirty shower , carpets were filthy throughout I tripped on a rug runner by front door as it was curling up !

Did not go to breakfast.

the heater beside the toilet had been damaged before we took over this made no difference as we did not need the heater in the present weather. It had been partially ripped from the wall. The soap dispenser in the bathroom did not work but we had our own soap.

Being in basement location and having to go out of hotel to get there, children didn't like it and didn't feel safe. Rooms felt damp and cold. we were there in August and had to have heater on as too cold. Needs decorating as chipped paint and overall poor condition

Strategically place ,near the train,local shops,beach, pier. Hotel was nice and clean.Staff too was friendy and accomodating.

Great location to where we needed it to be. Nice and clean.

Bathroom door would not shut properly,

The owner was very welcoming and so kind to me and my girls. And was extremely helpful to me. It was our first ever visit but I will promote this b&b to everyone I know. U don’t normally find a place that ticks every bok

No biscuits to go with a cup of tea. 😄
