Trenython Manor Resort

Lovely location. Lovely property. Lodges were nice.

No information brochures in lodges. (Eg take bins out, use dishwasher before leaving etc). Multiple windows in lodge couldn’t properly open due to blinds in the way. Outdoor table legs broken and wobbly at our lodge. Kitchen and kitchen equipment could have been cleaner. Floors didn’t really feel clean. Hard floors definitely not mopped. Lodges so well insulated that AC would be a valuable summer upgrade.

Klimatisierung bestand leider nur aus einem Ventilator und die Fenster ließen sich nicht weit öffnen.

Lodge was excellent and very well appointed, clean and plenty of towels. Huge bedrooms and bathrooms. There was a heatwave and fans were provided as standard which was nice although they were very underpowered! Would definitely go back to a lodge.

Signage for the lodge, walked around for ages trying to find ours. Worst thing was the ridiculous lock on the lodge door. We wondered why reception explained it to us and said if we had trouble getting in come back to them! It took several minutes to unlock the lodge and each time we left and returned locking and unlocking was a lottery.

The building is lovely. Breakfast was ok. Views where possible good. Quietness great. Cleanliness good.

The budget room size (£331 Inc breakfast) for 2 nights was tiny and no air con. TV must be over 15 years old. Poor water control temperature so the shower went from burning to freezing. Poor restaurant menu which mimics an overpriced mature pub menu. Most of the residents we saw on the first night actually went to the local pub which had a good menu and reasonably priced.

The property was very beautiful , we had upgraded to the superior room with sea view as were away for our anniversary, we were so shocked of how big and beautiful the room was and the view was lovely . We also like that the hotel had a spa which we use and was nice . The grounds were big and well kept . We can’t comment on food as we did not eat at the hotel .

There was nothing we disliked about the hotel the small bit of feedback I could give is maybe putting flip flops in the room so you can walk down to the spa in ur dressing gown with the flip flops on Nathan than having to wear ur shoes down but that is just a preference.

It was like home away from home. Will keep the destination in mind for future travels.

We booked two units and they were not close

The ambience, the rooms, the friendly staff, the food, the location and setting. Linen and towels were nice and clean, lovely addition in the bathroom with a few toiletries. Lovely clean room, housekeeping work very hard and do a good job, thumbs up to them

Pillows in the bedroom were hard need replacing. Room was a bit hot/stuffy good job there was a thoughtfully placed fan in the room. Would have been nice to have the option of decaf tea/fruit tea sachets in the room.
