"Large clean spacious home, fridge could be improved"

Large terraced property, good communication from the owner, plenty of room on both floors, everything clean, beds very comfortable (2 doubles and a twin), fresh bread, tea, coffee and milk provided, a good selection of cereals & muesli, tin of baked beans, tin of chopped tomatoes, in the lounge which has a large wall-mounted tv, there are plenty of DVDs & books, plus games and books for kiddies; the property is conveniently located; within 5-10 mins walk slightly downhill there are 3 mini-marts and a chemist, plus a pub, a charity shop and a large Co-op. Apparently there is also a cafe, but we arrived too late in the day.

There were crumbs and knife-marks in the spread in the fridge door, definitely off-putting, and a new pack of butter had been cut cleanly in half, with cut ends face-down in a dish, which was a bit odd. And although the full-cream milk bottle was still sealed, as were the two types of yoghurt provided, the bottle of semi-skimmed milk was only half full. The front-door key, accessed from the key-safe outside the front door, needs to be pushed really well in to the lock.

Really comfortable with plenty of space. Well equiped, all you could need in the kitchen. Plus bread, milk, butter, and a selection of other items in the kitchen. About 15 minutes drive to Hamsterley Forest. Short walk to the supermarket & pub. Would come back.

"Great house, with everything you could need, very comfortable and clean."

The hosts provided a welcome basket which included a range of breakfast options other than the usual cereals. They tried to cater for everyone choices which included fruit and yogurt in addition to milk and bread. So use to taking our own we didn't actually use any of them except the milk.

It was a lovely apartment.Loved the decor and the food available for breakfast.Very comfortable bed and suite.

Just had a bit of a problem with the key box as I struggled with opening it.It took a while to sort it.
