The best home away from home in our experience. We felt extremely welcome and well-fed with the food basket and other items in the fridge/kitchen. The heating system worked great. There're so many games to entertain yourself around the house. The owner was very responsive.

This is one of the most comfortable places I've stayed in a while - excellent hospitality and communication. Really wonderful homely feel and everything was catered for - I felt like I was staying in a really good friends house and they were expecting me! Most rentals are super basic, but this host had thought of everything and made sure that there were a few lights on when we arrived and the property was warm. I loved the decor - very cool! Comfy beds, comfy sofas, warm, friendly and clean. Fluffy towels, parking out front, easy to find, easy to check in. Very impressed. We even had milk in the fridge for a cuppa when we arrived which was super thoughtful. We enjoyed the crumpets! In terms of location - a nice lively local pub down the road and every convenience near by. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Set up really well for families and plenty for kids big and small to keep entertained.

Nice place to stop for one night, had everything for a comfortable stay. Kids enjoyed the dart board.

It seemed like the property was lived in at the time of stay, there was a lot of products opened in the kitchen and bathroom. When we left there were people waiting to enter the property which seemed odd given it early in the morning.

Liked everything. Excellent communication from the host, I advised we would be travelling late and got a reply with instructions on check-in and also advised the heating had been left on which was just what we needed. Facilities all as described. Would not hesitate to book here again.

Excellent host, nothing was too much trouble.. House was scrupulously clean with many thoughtful unexpected extras. Every effort had been made to meet our dietary needs and the food hamper which was very much appreciated. Good selection of tourist information, places to dine and the books provided on local history were very interesting. All together, we had an exceptionally great break. We would have liked to extend our stay. Look forward to returning again in the future. Thank you Erica and Jason's for your hospitality and kindness. We felt that we arrived as strangers but left as friends.

Nothing to dislike.

It's a home away from home, everything that might be needed has been carefully thought of and implemented. Perfectly situated for many local points of interest, Beamish is a MUST (tickets are valid for a year.) There's lots of leaflets to help you decide where to go and a fabulous folder of information. A hamper of food essentials was provided non grata which was a lovely welcoming surprise, games, dvd's etc for times when you just need to chill after a busy day sight seeing. Everything was great, spacious, comfy beds and all the facilities you'd have at home. A lot of thought and effort has been put into making the house a perfect base whether for leisure or business.

I honestly can't think of one thing that I didn't like.
