I enjoyed my stay here. Special thanks to Sapriadi who was very helpful with recommending places to visit, sorting out shuttle booking to Padang and a scooter rental (at great prices too!). The location is excellent for Bukittinggi.

The rooms are not very soundproof. I got woken up by other guests talking in the early morning, but only one of the three nights there (and not the hotel's fault).

The property is worth every penny. Simple but yet all your needs are there. The room is clean and it come together with the shared bathroom. No elevator so beware if you come with heavy beg. The prayer place and iron place located at level 2. It is also located near the Jam Gadang. Walking distance about 3-5min only. The staff is very helpful. Thank you so much to Sap who always help and being very informative on the best restaurant nearby.

Good location near to plenty of restaurants. Free tea, coffee and water. Helpful staff but with no English language skills. The hot water wasn't working but they made sure to fix the issue as well as fixing a noisy ceiling fan. Bed was comfortable.

Very difficult to get a good night's sleep. People up very late (staff cleaning and working outside the bedrooms after midnight) and other guests up very early whilst not being considerate of people sleeping. Lots of Indonesian families staying with their children, families sitting in the hallway outside of the rooms talking loudly early in the morning. They left their breakfast rubbish and general mess on the floor outside of the rooms after they had left. Not an ideal place for an international traveller as the staff speak no English and can't help much with onward travel or local information. Not actually a hostel in any real sense just a place to sleep for the night, if you can. Would not recommend.
