Central Serviced Apartments by Roomsbooked

Location was reasonably OK but hard to find and hard to park at.... It was reasonably furnished (apart from sofa) and it was a roomy apartment

We were on top floor of a very dated house. The shower head was in a high ceiling and not reachable to clean consequently the jets were firing in all directions other than down and many straight over the enclosure onto bathroom floor. The temperature was impossible to set as constantly changing while running presumably as other people in other apartments switched their taps on and off. In the lounge there was a large hole in ceiling with a bowl under it to catch water on top of a cupboard. The sofa was wrecked beneath the throw that had been put over it. The carpet and rug were very stained in the lounge also. Overall more like a student flat than a nice apartment for weekend

Clean & comfortable. Very good location for the centre of Cheltenham.

Shower barely got to a reasonable temperature. Any colder and it would have been unusable.

The location was good with parking just around the corner and a few minutes walk from the town centre. The accommodation was comfortable and the apartment had all you'd need for a short stay.

We had to pay a £250 deposit which seemed quite extreme for a one night stay.

The hotel requires a £250 security deposit which they don't mention in any of their pre-information until after you've booked - which is non refundable. So if this is a problem, you don't find out until after you've booked and can't change your room. This should be in the pre information, which is misleading and underhanded to spring additional charges once a room is booked and you can't change. The staff were incompetent and rude - the apartment is separate so we asked for directions and the staff member serving us had to be corrected by someone else or she would've sent us in the wrong direction. The other staff member then got annoyed when we asked how long it would take to get there - a pretty normal question to ask when we had bags with us and explained we had to be somewhere shortly. The room was cold and the bed is rock hard. By the head of the bed is a door to the outside which both feels flimsy and insecure and also allows a draft in which isn't blocked. If the room is permanently an annexe room, then block it off or seal around that.

Location was good. Very quiet. Paid parking available close by. Most of facilities were good.

A corner shelf in shower room would be handy as nowhere to put toiletries or make up. If not possible a mirror in the rest of this studio apartment would be helpful.

Had to go to a hotel to collect the keys. Atmosphere was not particularly friendly. One member is staff sat doing their hair.

Furnishing and carpets were sterile/ cold. .the apartment was not at all homely. No mirror at all in the apartment anywhere !
