It was very exclusive, room was huge, huge bed, well looked after. Great location right on the beach with private access. Great food.

Our stay at Jua Retreat was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and a level of service that sets a new standard for excellence. The retreat's location is absolutely breathtaking, with rooms that offer a 180-degree view of the sea – a view that's etched in our memory forever. We found ourselves waking up to the gentle sound of waves, and it was the most serene way to start each day. The room itself was a masterpiece of comfort and design. It was spacious, elegantly decorated, and offered all the modern amenities you could ask for. What truly sets Jua Retreat apart, however, is its staff. They have mastered the art of making guests feel not just welcomed, but truly cherished. Their dedication to ensuring your stay is perfect is remarkable. They're knowledgeable, attentive, and always ready with a friendly smile. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. Dining with a sea view as your backdrop is an unforgettable experience. Whether you're looking for a serene escape or an intimate romantic getaway, Jua Retreat is the perfect destination. Absolutely nothing

Amazing place, felt like being in paradise. Staff, lead by Hassan, is very helpfull and always there to service you to the maximum. With only 8 guest in total it's always feels like a private resort. From here you can relax, go for a walk or go for any excursion. The standard of food is excellent, always multiple options and definitely like you would get in a good restaurant. The extra's like the spa service is a very nice extra.

I like a quiet and isolated place and Jua has met my requirements. Paid a lot but loved it.

Jua offered bike rental during booking and I ticked yes. The day I arrived I asked for a bike and they said they would sort it. I haven't got a chance to ride a bike before I checked out. When bike rental was offered and taken, it should be honored.

everything from the arrival moment to departure, was great. Room was large well equipped with everything you might need, super clean, and very close to nature. Food has been a delight, we enjoyed each and every meal. The serenity of Jua and its' surroundings and above all the staff (second to none).

Everything was incredible! The views were stunning, room was unbelievably comfortable and the staff were the cherry on the cake! We had a truly amazing stay! Jua is quiet and secluded, with plenty of space and privacy throughout the whole property. Meals were delicious and a great size and were always served with a smile. Massages were very relaxing and the on site shop and tailor made some beautiful bags to measure for us.

We absolutely loved our stay at Jua Retreat. Villas are beautiful and the bed is probably the largest we have ever slept in. Views are breathtaking - surrounded by nature and sea. Hassan and his team make sure that they make your stay memorable through their personalised service and nothing is ever an issue, they made us feel special through entire stay. Food is made fresh specifically for you and the choice is great - Breakfast was especially delicious! We loved the jams and home made pastry which changed every day, you could also get your "starter" breakfast including juices, coffee, home made pastries, yogurt, muesli and fruits to your villa porch every morning. My favourite part of the day! Would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone who is looking to be pampered and relaxed in beautiful and very private surroundings.

Everything was amazing. There is nothing we could wish more for. From location to service and food. We loved every minute spent at Jua Retreat.

This is not your usual hotel on the beach. This place is a mix between luxury and living in nature surrounded by beauty. I spent 3 nights of my honeymoon there, which was magical. You have your privacy, and the service is top-notch. The staff there are super friendly and accommodating, and they make you feel at home, Emanuel Hassan Jamal and the rest of the staff will always make you feel special . The food there is some type of fine dining on the beach we looked forward to every and each meal as they were delicious. And every morning, you will wake up to find coffee and amazing cookies at your door, which was incredible. Thank you all for making our trip so magical

Everything, the room was big, the bed was huge, the views were incredible, staff super friendly and attentive, the food was like Michelin star.

Sometimes we felt the laid back staff were a little slow mainly when making cocktails. It wasn’t a big issue but the only thing I could fault.

Super service, friendliness, good food, good facilities...

The beach at low tide isn't amazing, but you already knew that because on that side of the island of Zanzibar it's like that everywhere.
