Stuff is very friendly, Wi-Fi is everywhere, nice place to enjoy a peace. Nice food, but Zanzibar taste is missing, very European kitchen.

Every night a garbage was burned in the next village, smell is horrible.

From the first second we arrived everything was absolutely perfect! Very nice and friendly staff (whoever we met), cozy room with a nice pool, delicious food - this is really a place where dreams become true.

This place is absolutely amazing!! My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights as the final part of our honeymoon. I was excited to come having read some fantastic reviews but it was better than we could have expected. Jua is utterly stunning; the villas are spacious, beautiful and private. There is such an atmosphere of relaxation and tranquillity through the whole place. The staff particularly are exceptional - thank you to Hassan, and to Musa, Emanuel and Jamal who made us feel like absolutely nothing was any trouble. We came down for each meal to find the table laid in a different place, usually by candlelight and right next to the ocean. Room service via Whatsapp was also such a fab idea! Huge thank you to Lillian and her excellent massages and to the housekeeping team who were fantastic. And finally, to the whole team in the kitchen who produced the most incredible food throughout our stay. Every single meal was fabulous!! We would highly recommend Jua and would absolutely love to return at some point.

Nothing, it was perfect! Just to note the beach is not hugely suited to swimming - you do need shoes and the tides are strong. But you can walk for miles when the tide is out, and paddle in shallow waters when it comes in. A few comments about the bad road leading up to the hotel - do not let this put you off. It is bumpy for maximum 5 minutes and significantly better than other unpaved roads!
