Studio Flat

Proximity to tow centre.

1) Faulty boiler meant we had no heating or hot water on 2 of the 4 days of our stay. This occurred on the date of checkin (8 February 2025) when we arrived to a freezing cold studio. Did not know how to operate the boiler and no instructions were provided. Contacted owner who texted me some suggestions but these did not work. Her partner arrived the following day at lunchtime to fix the issue and programmed the boiler for us to come on at 7am. It worked perfectly the following day but on the morning of checkout (11/2/25), the heating and hot water failed to come on at 7am and upon checking the boiler, it was displaying an F.28 error so we were unable shower or have any heating and had to vacate earlier than we’d planned as it was so cold inside the studio. 2) TV operation was complicated and certain channels had poor signal. 3) WiFi was difficult to access due to no written instructions whatsoever or password and account name. 4) The car park was located behind the block of flats. It was difficult to find as access to the car park was by an entirely different route involving an unsignposted road and a rough track onto waste ground. It was not listed on Google maps, was not lit at night and it was muddy in parts. I would not recommend the walking route from the car park into the alleyway leading to the flat to solo female travellers needing to park here in darkness. 5) The outside light above the front door entrance was not working. I felt unsafe yesterday evening when I had to walk back from the car park alone in darkness , down the alleyway and no lighting around the front door. 6) No hairdryer. 7) Lack of basic information left inside the studio or provided in advance with booking confirmation, eg boiler operation, tv operation/WiFi account name and password and directions to the car park.

The place was very cosy had all the facilities i needed and the bed was very comfortable. It was right in the centre but very quite spot. Vicky, the host, was extremely responsive to any questions and very kindly allowed me an early check in which was very much appreciated

Everything was great. No issues at all

Bed was very comfy and the wee flat is on the high street but not noisy at all. Liked it has a washing machine as well.Key in a lockbox.

A bit tricky to find the car park initially but there is free private parking.

The flat has been excellently kitted out inside - the front space housing kitchen settee and TV, with the rear space being where the shower/toilet and bed lie

I discussed minor teething issues with the owner whi was receptive
