Garden room

The bed was really comfortable. We both slept very well. Steve was very approachable and willing to help. The room gave us everything we needed for a couple of nights in Exmouth. Definitely returning.

We couldn't fault the room, especially at that price.

not a lot

No details to access the accommodation - nothing from the host at all, only got in because a young man who rents a room in the main house came along just as I was about to give up. Very scruffy exterior to the house, entrance to the "garden room" along an alleyway [2.25m wide] beside the house. Unclear where to park, most of the road was Resident Parking only, with a few spaces limited to 1hour between 8am and 8pm. Very tight bathroom, with over-the-bath shower, bath had two levels and no grab rails, making it rather hazardous getting in and out. Rather thin curtains to "patio" doors fasing SE so early morning light very disturbing, also the door to the main house [to which I had no key] had a glass panel at the top and a light was on in the corridor beyond it, so that was also disturbing. Heavyweight duvet on the bed not suitable for summer weather.

Comfortable room

It would be useful to have a small fridge in the room. The outdoor decking area could do with a re varnish
