It was a cute place

It was a bit dusty from what my aunt said, the radiator in the Toilet was not easy to use as the display was broken but would work. Bathroom tap had a slow drip which you could hear at night. Is single glazed glass so it takes a while to warm up the place and need to keep the heat on due to little drafts

Location great. Stunning aspect.

Shower space small. Needs a door to make private. Leaking toilet but fixed straight away when asked. Bed a bit challenging for whoever sleeps on angled ceiling side.

Nothing. With the information given I was unable to even find Granary. With a number it might have helped. I had to ask at at the local library for help and looking for Granary provided 5 or 6I A phone call was made - nobody answered. It was now getting late and the library closing and so I accepted another BNB offer. I expect somebody to be at the BnB at the time given for check in, especially after driving for several hours. I do not expect to be charged for this.

If decent address was given I might have been able to find the Granary - a number would be advantageous. Nobody was home when I called at the expected check in time and I had to make other arrangements.

Have stayed before and will again as we have family in the area. Love the quiet location, perfect for a visit to the N Devon Coast.

The property was near our friends . Nice and quiet and not disturbed. Nice touches with , garden flowers, choccies , tea, coffee sugar etc and milk in the fridge . Loved the toiletries and hand soaps etc . Enough kitchen aids to cook a good breakfast, toaster and microwave too . Owners responded to water heater failure and replaced an old frying pan quickly .

The road to this property is VERY bad , huge holes that should be filled in . Instructions are detailed but there is NO Signage along the track to help you out, it’s up a long off-road towards it , but as there is no picture of the property on the site you don’t know what you are looking for, the sign on the house is not on the road side either We only found it once we had driven past a big house on a bend(dreadful pot holes there) and reached the top of the road and drove back down . It’s on a sharp bend and it was very dark when we got there. we used the top road for access once we found it by mistake, much quicker and less bumps. Sofa bed is hard and uncomfortable and needs a topper . take a extension lead to have a fan or plug your phone in for the mezzanine bed area. Stairs are steep too. The worse thing for us was no privacy for the shower room, we suggest a curtain on the door to it even tho the actual shower has a curtain, it’s when you step out that it’s a problem, it’s a tight area too. The property is only big enough for no more than two small to medium people . It gets insanely dark at night but it is in the middle of a old estate with lots of what look like derelict out buildings .

Nice comfortable stay. Was what we expected. Directions were good, just the road to it is quite narrow. First time this retired couple had to climb a ladder to the bed, but was fine.

This is a secluded and quiet location. Cosy feel and excellent value for money
