The Granary

Beautiful location

Stayed there with friend. Privacy in shower was dificult as no door or curtain

We liked the remoteness of the property - so peaceful. But also close to lovely dog friendly beaches and some lovely off lead walks available straight outside the door.

The only thing that might be a problem in the winter was that there was no hot running water other than the electric shower, so we had to boil the kettle to wash up etc. It didn’t affect us as it was warm and summer months so it was fine.

Very clean, cosy and comfortable. Quiet and peaceful location. Good directions passed by owner, easy to find, great proximity to near by towns, villages and beaches. Everything needed in a property for a few nights break away, would definitely return.

The facilities were great, it has everything you could need. Fresh pint of milk, tea and coffee, chocolates. Lovely shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

Getting down the ladder was fine but after a few drinks you would need to be very careful. This might not bother other people but there were quite a few spiders. The place is very clean but my husband had to get 7 spiders for me.

Wow, what an amazing little gem you have here at The Granary!! We had the most wonderful 2 night stay here. The Granary is a beautiful little treasure of a place. It has everything you need for a cosy stay in the beautiful Devonshire countryside. The hosts left lovely little touches there for you. The chocolates, tea, sugar, and milk were a wonderful touch on arrival, thank you. The bed was fantastic, we giggled up the stairs. The grounds and the surroundings of The Granary are absolutely stunning. It was nice to visit Croyde, Ilfracombe, Crows Point, Braunton burrows, and many country walks, all not far. Well done, guys. This place is amazing! We enjoyed a lovely cosy weekend, and we will definitely be back.
