There are not enough words to describe the beauty and comfort of Ahilya Fort. The delicious food, the lush gardens, every detail makes a stay there a dream come true

"Off the beaten track, but for a magical spiritual experience worth the journey."

Location. We stayed during a particularly auspicious weekend, and the ghats were magical. The highlight of a six centre road trip. That said, we had to fly to Indore to access Maheshwar, but well worth the effort. Great feeling of exclusivity. The dining experience rotates around various locations around the fort.

No alcohol policy in line with the sacred status of Maheshwar. But they allow you to bring your own, and will happily serve it to you.

"An absolutely wonderful and memorable stay."

The old world charm with all amenities. The fresh food - the staff and the little gestures of care. The evening boat ride on the river was a memorable experience.
