Sigiri Veenus Paradise

I liked this place so much I booked another night! The owner and family were extremely kind and accommodating. The provided a delicious breakfast, great Sigiriya recommendations, and even let me borrow a yoga mat for my four night stay (which I extended). Amazing location right by the park and close by to restaurants, while still enjoying peace and quiet. Highly recommend!!!

Everything was perfect. Nuwan is so friendly and a great host. He made sure we got everything we needed and more. He also had great recommendations, booked tuktuks and tours for us and he helped with our onwards travel. The breakfast was amazing and plenty. The room was clean and well equiped. The outside area was perfect for relaxing, especially cozy in the rain. Cannot recommend more.

A great friendly family atmosphere makes you feel very welcome! Close to food and great breakfast Too much to eat ... Nuwan, wife and mother went out of their way. Nuwan helped save a tangled baby monkey with the support of locals. It was when we were leaving so he did follow up after a couple hours that baby monkey was safe with its family.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt bei in Sigiriya! Die Betten waren sehr bequem, es gab gute Mückennetze, alles war sehr sauber und wir haben ein wirklich leckeres Frühstück dazu buchen können! Nuwan hat sich für uns um Laundry service gekümmert und stand uns die ganze Zeit mit Tipps zur Seite! Es gab auch die Möglichkeit eine Elefanten-Safari zu einem sehr fairen Preis über ihn zu buchen. Wir hatten leider schon alle Tage verplant aber empfehlen daher einen Tag dafür frei zu lassen!

Owner is very friendly and helpful. The room was great. It had everything that you would want and was perfect for us day it was in the jungle and had a very cool feel about it. It wasn’t in the main area so was quieter in the evening times but there was still enough going on for us to find places to eat and drink.

The room was beautiful - clean and spacious with a lovely bathroom that included hot water in the shower. Nuwan was really kind and helpful, and the breakfast was superb - delicious and plentiful, and so nice to enjoy it on the leafy veranda.

We needed a cover on the bed, but we mentioned that to the host already.

I proprietari sono stati gentilissimi. La colazione era buona. A pochi minuti a piedi ci sono vari bar e ristoranti. La casa ed il giardino erano bellissimi e molto curati, tutto pulito, con doccia calda e aria condizionata.

The rooms were very clean. We stayed in the tree house which was build recently according to the host. We really enjoyed the ambience, the washrooms were clean with all toiletries provided. Two rooms were separated from the treehouse! The treehouse is for couples while the other rooms are family rooms with equally good facilities. As a local, the host helped us a lot, he provided us breakfast as requested and helped us find decent restaurants for dinner as most of the restaurants in the town targets the foreign crowd which was a bit inconvenient for us. It’s also just 10 mins away from sigiriya lion rock, closer to pidurangala and he even arranged a safari jeep for us to go to minneriya.

I spoke to the host regarding this- the entrance is not attractive and so is the garden. He mentioned that he’s working on it so hopefully everyone can enjoy the view with their stay.
