Sigiri Veenus Paradise

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly especially when I was not well. They arranged a tuk tuk for me to go to lion's rock and picked me up from the bus stop when I arrived. The place is simple and extremely good value for money. It's a little further from where a lot of restaurants are but they are walkable and there are some places closer too. It was close enough for me to walk back from lion's rock.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Veenus Paradise and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service and accommodations. Despite booking at the last minute, the owner was understanding and accommodating, ensuring a seamless check-in process. The room was both spacious and impeccably clean, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploration. I particularly appreciated the mosquito net over the bed, which added an extra layer of comfort and peace of mind. The bathroom was well-maintained and featured hot water, enhancing the overall experience. Each morning, I was treated to a delightful breakfast, included with my stay. The friendly and responsive owner made sure all our needs were met, contributing to a memorable and enjoyable visit. I highly recommend Veenus Paradise to anyone seeking a welcoming and comfortable place to stay.

We had the pleasure of being the first to stay at this great new stilt house, and I can't recommend it enough!  The bed is really comfortable.  The bathroom is spacious and hygienic.  The little terrace with table and chairs has rustic and relaxing feel.  The stair lights are great (and considerately turned on by somebody in the evening)!  Everything was immaculately clean, and the tasteful decor added a lovely cozy vibe.    It's only 2.2km from Sigiriya and WOW!  What a day out that place is!  Well worth spending 3-4 hours there.   I really respected and appreciated our host Nuwan, he was likeable, attentive, charming and always on hand to offer help.   If I make it back to this part of Sri Lanka I will be looking to stay here again and see my new friend!   Thanks for a great stay mate!  Xx

We had a very comfortable stay at Venus Paradise in the heart of Sigiriya town and very close to restaurants and Lion Rock. Our triple room was simple and clean but had everything we needed, including a kettle and shower gel. The mattress & pillow were unexpectedly one of the most comfortable we'd ever slept in ever! The host Nuwan is just a WhatsApp text away if we needed anything, and the complimentary homemade breakfast was delicious. You might find yourself accompanied by Kitty, the cutest and most affectionate cat during breakfast. P.S.: Stargazing is excellent.

Nice room We would stay again

My stay at sigiri veenus paradise was simply amazing. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality of the host Nuwan was exceptional, always present and ready to help with anything I needed. The rooms were spotless, with an impressive level of cleanliness that made a real difference, and the wifi was fast and reliable. I also needed a long-distance taxi, and they took care of arranging everything for me, saving me time and hassle. A very exciting detail is that they are building a treehouse-style room, and from what I saw, it’s going to be an incredible experience for future guests. Definitely a place I would recommend without hesitation.

This was a brilliant find! Excellent value for money. Our hosts Nuwan was amazing, within a few minutes of asking he had organised a scooter to rent and a safari for the next day, all for exceptionally good rates. Nice big room, probably best shower of our holiday, nice veranda if it’s raining. I don’t often take the time to leave reviews but this one I highly recommend
