SILVER RAIL

Had a lovely 2 night stay here. The family is really carrying that you are feeling good. The room was spacious and very clean. There is a small shop downstairs too that sells snacks and water. Totally recommended.

Location, close to Galle Fort.

The hosts were the incredible kind and friendly and the breakfast tasty. We enjoyed every minute in this place and will definitely return if ever back in Galle

A but noisy due to train tracks but would not stop me from rebooking again

It’s a massive and clean room. If you stop by in Galle, do yourself a favour and book at Silver Rail. The hosts are so kind and friendly. We enjoyed every min and would def be back

It was perfect

About a 10 minute walk from Galle Fort station. The room was completely magical! Surrounded by trees, fireflies (at night) and overlooking the train (where you could watch the different trains and people travelling). Very big bed with mosquito net, and fans meant we slept very well despite the heat. Really clean. Hosts were genuinely incredible, providing a teapot and snack in morning (when she was bringing our tea, a monkey appeared behind her and she had a little fright but we all giggled.)

I loved it all

The room was spacious, very clean, and the temperature was great. We also had two fans in the room on top of that. The breakfast in the morning was amazing, definitely the best we've had in Sri Lanka at our hotels. Big and delicious! The mosquito net in the room was very nice as well. The family running the guesthouse were also very lovely and helpful. I would absolutely recommend to stay here.

Just keep in mind that this hotel is next to the railway, for us it wasn't`t a problem at all though. The train comes every one in a while but not during the night.

Amazing stay. Lovely room and great facilities. The family who own here were so welcoming and friendly. Our best stay in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰. A fifteen minute walk from Galle Fort and great value accommodation for the area.

Nothing, it was perfect.

Couldn't ask for better. The family is lovely and very accommodating. I had medication with me that had to be kept in the fridge and this was no problem even though there was no fridge in the room. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. She even allowed us to take some away with us! The train provides a great atmosphere and the location is perfect.

Good location and friendly staff
