The Granary

We loved the appearance of the property, it looks even better in person! It was very cozy and well-kept.

The only minor problem was the empty-ish supplies (coffee, cleaning etc.) didn’t effect our stay as we brought our own and also the sunroof above the bed without a blind!

It had all we needed. There were lots of nice touches. All necessary equipment in the kitchen bar a water filter. Tranquil and restful with the coast not too far away. Able to visit Africa live for a day and a day on the Broads waterway.

The dust seemed everywhere. The walk in wardrobe was not as it was stuffed with all sorts of things. The water was not good so full of lime we could not have a decent cup of tea. The path to the property was not good made of slabs no good for a suitcase with wheels with that and an overgrown hedge made the walk difficult.

Quaint

Was very dusty When we were showering a large patch of white stuff appeared on tiles but disappeared when the tiles were dry There were signs of mould on the shower tiles At times we thought there was a funny drain like smell When we left no one was around it was only an hour before due out time So we were unable to tell about shower patch

Very comfortable home from home

Could do with a blind for roof skylight.

The location was within easy reach of our friends' place. It was also very close to lovely small towns we had not visited before. It was a pleasure to be able to relax in a private area.

I was on a two day course a 25minute drive away so this was a great location for me, with free parking. The keys were easy to collect on arrival and the owners were friendly and very helpful. I didn't get to spend long there as I was away each day for work but it was super clean, very cosy and comfortable. The bed was really comfortable and the bedroom was lovely. I would definitely stay again if I was in the area.

We enjoyed our stay at The Granary, it was clean and comfortable. We made good use of the outdoor area.

The only negative comment was that we hadn’t realised that there was no tv at the property and as our grandchildren are only young we left them quite early on and returned to the Granary, intending to watch the BGT final. We did manage to watch a little tv on one of our phones but it was quite awkward. Lesson learnt, read beforehand what is included at the property. The Wi-Fi was very good though.
