LTVery nice location for nature lovers and horse enthusiasts. You can enjoy watching the horses, help brush them, and even learn how they are cared for, the staff are very friendly girls who take time to explain everything, which was really interesting. Big compliments to them, you can clearly see they truly love and take care of the horses.🐴 Kalypso was my favourite! 😍 Best wishes from the Petrol Couple!😀⛽️ There is also a nearby river for swimming, which is perfect on a hot day. The tent is lovely and comfortable.
It is a bit far from the city, so you’ll need a taxi or motorbike to get around.
FRTout était parfait ! Gros coup de cœur pour cet endroit. Les bénévoles, le staff et la propriétaire sont au top du top. Les chambres sont propres, très bien équipées et confortables. Et en plus de ça, on voit que les chevaux sont choyés et on a la possibilité de participer à leurs soins et ballades 🥰 On recommande sans hésiter !
FRFRNous avons adoré notre séjour aux écuries. Un endroit très paisible, le personnel et les volontaires sont très accueillants. La rivière a 2 minutes à pied en contre bas à été l’un de nos endroits préférés de Luang Prabang. Le projet de ce lieu est dédié au sauvetage des poneys locaux et la propriétaire est passionnée, séjourner ici est un moyen de contribuer à une belle cause! Nous recommandons +++. Très bien situé aussi à l’écart de la ville mais accessible très facilement en louant un scooter. Possibilité de manger sur place et c’est très bon!
FRLa gentillesse de la propriétaire des lieux qui parle avec passion. Les volontaires et les salariés Laotiens ont été très accueillant. Cabane top et adaptation si soucis. Il faut tout acheter en plus mais on sait pourquoi on le fait et à quoi cela sert. Bravo 👍🏼

BETout étais super, logement, staff, accessibilité et accommodations. Nous avons vraiment apprécier passer du temps avec les volontaires et l’équipe laotienne. Je recommande vivement les balades et le carring des poney si vous aimez les animaux.
IEI had a really special experience at NamKhan Horse Stables. The setting is beautiful, peaceful, and quite rustic, this isn’t a luxury, five-star-style setup, but more of a nature-based, almost camping-like experience. If you’re someone who loves being immersed in nature and meaningful projects, it feels really magical. The work they’re doing with rescue horses is truly incredible. I went on a trek with Gazpacho, a horse with an amazing story, they quite literally saved his life. Riding through the Nam Khan River and nearby villages was such a unique and memorable experience. As a solo traveller, it took a little time to feel comfortable, as the team can seem quite reserved at first. But once I got talking with them, they were kind and clearly very passionate about what they do. I think this place will really resonate with people who appreciate simplicity, nature, and the effort behind animal rescue. it’s a very special experience if you come with the right expectations.
