Authentic Leedo Hanok

まず、オーナーさんとのコミュニケーションがとてもスムーズでしたし、本当に良い方でした。 お庭もとても良く手入れされていますし、家の中も本当に清潔に保たれていました。 一日中観光で歩いて疲れて帰って来ると帰ってきた〜という安心感があります。 生活家電はもちろん、充電器まで用意してあって驚きました。 今まで韓国に行く時はホテルに泊まっていましたが、今度からはこちらに泊まります！ 우선 호스트분과의 소통이 매우 원활했고, 정말 좋은 분이셨습니다. 정원도 아주 잘 관리되어 있었고, 집 안 역시 정말 깨끗하게 유지되고 있었습니다. 하루 종일 관광으로 걷다가 지쳐서 돌아오면 “아, 돌아왔다”라는 안심되는 느낌이 듭니다. 생활 가전은 물론이고 충전기까지 준비되어 있어서 놀랐습니다. 지금까지는 한국에 올 때마다 호텔에 묵었는데, 다음부터는 이곳에 머물 예정입니다! 선생님, 정말 감사합니다 😊 First of all, communication with the host was very smooth, and he was truly a wonderful person. The garden was beautifully maintained, and the inside of the house was kept extremely clean as well. After walking around sightseeing all day and coming back exhausted, the house gave me a comforting feeling of “I’m home.” Not only were all the necessary appliances provided, but I was even surprised to find chargers prepared for guests. Until now, I always stayed in hotels whenever I visited Korea, but from now on, I will stay here instead!

We loved everything about this place. The location was nice and central to the palaces, Insadong, Ikseondong, and Bukchon. There is a metro line close and a lot of bus stops (including airport limousine bus). Ton of cute shops, cafes and restaurants on the same street. The hanok itself was beautiful and well maintained, it has all the charm of a hanok while also having modern necessities. The courtyard was great and bigger than what I thought it would be. The hanok has so much space which was nice for us as we stayed here at the end of our trip after traveling across the country and staying in hotel rooms. There are two bathrooms with toilets and showers and a laundry room. The beds were comfortable (mattresses on the firmer side) and the shower had good water pressure. The owner is the nicest guy ever and so friendly! He showed us around the hanok and gave us some tips. Very accommodating and offered to be our guide if we needed. We were also able to store our luggage after checkout in a small alcove so we could keep exploring before going to the airport.

We just wish we could have stayed longer.

I came in and the owner greeted us, even though our flight was later than arranged. He also arrange a great driver to pick us up, The driver waited as well for me being later and then went to terminal 2 to pick up my daughter in law. It meant a lot after a long flight from California. I felt like I was home that very night. The house had everything one could ask for in comfort and cleanliness. The space gave us both privacy, as well as, a complete kitchen area to share. The living room was just the space between our rooms. The bathrooms were updated and perfect. But, most of all, the location and neighborhood were the best possible area to be in. The house was a experience in hanok living and walking in this neighborhood was safe and contemporary, as well as a timeless experience of old korea. Seems Mr. Lee considers everything to make his guests at home....Thank you for a great home to be safe and comfortable during our visit to Seoul. Ellen Slatkin

- An authentic, beautiful hanok with a nice little garden - Very clean - Very well equipped with everything you might need - A very nice and helpful owner - A few minutes walk to the Anguk station, a few steps away from all the shops and restaurants (but very quiet)

観光をするのに立地かとても良かったです。家で過ごすようにゆっくりできました。そして何よりオーナーさんの気配りが最高でした。また韓国に来たら、泊まらせていただきたいです。ありがとうございました。

We absolutely loved this Hanok! It is in the most amazing location, close to cafes/restaurants and shops. The subway is a 5 min walk away. The host is lovely and regularly checked in with us. He booked us a van taxi on our last day, which was very helpful. We went in the middle of winter, and it was -12 on some days. The Hanok is beautifully warm with underfloor heating.

Nothing, we loved it! Even the outdoor bathroom was fun to run to in the chilly weather (there is also a bathroom inside).

We had a wonderful stay at Leedo Hanok during our trip to Korea. The hanok was very clean, cozy, and comfortable, and it was a great experience for our family to stay in a traditional Korean home. The hanok was also very well stocked with basic necessities such as coffee, tea, water, laundry pods, and toiletries, so we didn’t need to buy anything ourselves. The owner was extremely warm, hospitable, and helpful. He shared great recommendations on places to visit in Seoul and also kept us informed about the weather conditions so we could be well prepared before heading outdoors. He even went above and beyond to help us reserve slots for our hike at Bukhansan, especially since we didn’t have a Korean contact number. We were truly grateful for his assistance and would definitely stay here again if we return to Seoul.
