Anika Hotel

The couple who own this hotel were amazing and made us feel so welcomed. They were so funny and helpful, and we chatted for a while over Google translate which was really lovely.

The location is a bit awkward but If you need a night in Ha Long bay before moving on as we did, then this place is perfect.

We had chosen this hotel because it was close to the bus stop. The couple that runs the hotel is very nice and friendly. They don't speak Englis, but with the Google translate app, we managed pretty well.

They don't serve breakfast, but we did know that. The owner drove us to a little restaurant in the neighbourhood, which we could have walked to, by the way. We had some nice Pho for breakfast.

The hotel was beautiful, really modern and clean. We arrived at 5 am and the owners were more than welcoming and helpful. The room looked exactly like the pictures and the bed was the comfiest we have stayed in during our travels. I couldn’t recommend this place more! The owners were also the most kind and helpful in sorting taxis and boat tickets.

Room was clean and staff were more than helpful. We got in late because for a sleeper bus but the lady at reception greeted us with a smile and on departure from the hotel the owner gave us a lift to the bus pick up point

Very accommodating and welcoming staff. Beautiful facilities and room. They organised to get us to our cruise booking location. Very ideal location to stay after getting off a sleeper bus.
