"Exceptional"

The farm is located on the outskirts of Kirkcudbright, surrounded by sheep and lands. This place is literally a little piece of heaven on earth, quiet and stress free. It was amazing to see 3 little lambs roaming free in the farm and that we were able to pet them. The barn conversion was fantastic, cosy and comfy. We loved going for walks around the farm every evening to see the sheep, cows, Harvey the horse or simply go around the pond to watch spectacular sunset over the hill. (We had an amazing weather during our stay!). Dan and Ciara are very friendly and caring. They love what they do and we felt we were like family. Odin was also amazing at showing the farm around to my sons and taking them on egg picking duties in the morning. It was truly an heartbreak to leave such an amazing place and people. We will definitely come back.

Everything felt new and clean, Ciara and Dan were more than just hosts. Such a good farm to visit with small children.

Kirkudbright as a wee town didnt have too many options for eating out at lunchtimes. Hotels closed in the afternoons and only seemed to be a few cafes that were really busy.

The barn is beautifully decorated and laid out, it was such a comfortable and relaxing place to stay. The farm is situated in beautiful surroundings, we really enjoyed exploring the local area and seeing all the wildlife. Dan, Ciara and little Odin are fantastic hosts, very friendly and welcoming. Thank you, Janet and Steve 😊. We will definitely return.

The property is very spacious and modern conversion of an old farm building. The bed is very comfy. The setting is simply one of the best places we have ever stayed. There is a 45 minute walk round the farm which has breathtaking scenery. It’s an incredible place and the family and their dogs are adorable
