Northstay - City Square, Sleeps 5

It is located exactly at the centre of all the activities and is very convenient to reach any place from here. Grocery stores and most of the attractions are at arm’s length.

Facing the road, no views as such, compact property, bedrooms are like attic, check in experience was messed up, needs a small guide note about how things operate for the guests to avoid figuring out.

Good location in centre of Tromso

Outside appearance poor (photos were only shared after booking a few days before arrival) lobby area was a bit smelly. Shower head bracket broken, washing machine drain blocked and some mould in corner of bedroom.

The apartment was clean, comfortable and had nearly everything it should. We stayed in mid January. Despite negative temperatures, it was warm inside. The two bedrooms are good with nice beds (one double bed in each). Both bedrooms had quite a few drawers which usually is not the case in rental places. Here you can store your things easily. The apartment is conveniently located. With the bus stop super close to the entrance, so the walk to the bus at the airport is longer then here. It's also walking distance to the city center, the port, Polaria, etc. No issues with the neighbors or the house facilities. They have a well prepared check in process. So it worked great with us coming with the late evening flight being delayed even further. The WiFi worked great. We haven't even tried the TV (why would we in Tromso?) The photos in the listing present the true look of the place as of Jan 2024.

If anything, one could buy a few more plates, especially the smaller ones for a breakfast. One could have a bit more power outlets, so you could keep your phone next to you when sleeping. Nothing serious really.

There’s no lift in this property. Need to walk 2 floors up with big lugages

No toaster

Location was excellent. We were able to store luggage at nearby hotel prior to checkin which was very helpful.

The stairs to the apartment were difficult if you have heavy luggage and there was no lift. The entrance to the building was a bit dirty.

Getting into the property was easy, and the instructions were clear.

I tried emailing the owners when the reservation was made about arriving earlier but never got a response.
