Friendly staff

I had a private room and in my opinion the value for money was bad. You have to pay extra for towels. The sink wasn't in the shower but close to the toilet and there was no squeegee, so that you still get wet feets hours after showering whenever you enter the bathroom again. You should know that it's a party hostel.

The place was amazing, Great Vibe, Ambience. Superb staff. Especially Hasi and TJ. Made me feel like home. Beds were super comfy, Social events and the gatherings area was really chill. Definitely lives up to the Name!! Private room was super spacious, unlike other places I’ve stayed in Hiriketiya. Worth every single buck spent

Nice new rooms

The staff didnt know what they were doing. There was one really helpfull guy who spoke english but he was not there halve of the time. The other guys could not anything without him. On top of that the music was always to loud and at weird hours and so was the construction work to the bottom floor

Bad smell

Liked the social vibe & large private room with aircon. Staff were friendly & helped us with any problems that came up. Easy to meet other travellers and join in with social activities. Short walk to the beach.

Price was high compared to other accommodation in Sri Lanka but for us was worth it for the social vibes. Transport in the back of the Ute didn’t feel very safe for longer trips, maybe I am getting old 😅 you can easily walk to most places though or jump in a tuktuk for longer journeys. Would recommend for solo travellers for sure.

The staff here are so amazing and helpful. They organised plenty of fun activities like family dinners, swimming with turtles and club nights. They also organised a Safari for us which was super great. Thankyou!

It’s close the the beach and sociable

Staff were slow and didn’t have any idea of things going on. The rooms were dirty and outdated. Zero communal area
