Very friendly owner lives close by. Good location, great value for money. After posting this review, the owner called to say we'd broken the toilet seat, which is a bit mortifying, but he wasn't going to charge us for it, which I appreciate.

Cleanliness was more "staying with a friend" than "booking.com" standard - host hung the laundry up in the living room , hadn't emptied bathroom bin which had a few tissues in, looked like pillowcases possibly hadn't been changed from previous guest. Solvable problems. After posting this review, the owner called to say he felt a 3 was too low given the overall standard of cleaning. He wasn't sure how there were hairs on the pillowcase but they may have been from his daughter or something, and they definitely had been washed. He reassured me that the pillowcases/bedsheet/duvet cover were washed after every guest, though the second duvet cover is only washed after every other guest. I am sure he will leave a response to this review.

Audio recordings in every room which means whatever is said can be heard by the body from his own room which I found creepy

Location was very good. It was warm and clean in the property. Bed was comfortable. Enjoyed views from balcony and most importantly the host was great. Top guy would definitely recommend and book again.

Host did not clearly state additional fees. Property was not clean to a hosting standard. No hot water and additional charge to things that should be complimentary example tea coffee water.

Nothing at all

The apartment was extremely dirty, bath tub had left over dirt all around it, the hand basin was dirty with hairs, the toilet had hair and dort on it. The sink was left with a pile of washed dishes, floor was dirty not hoovered or mopped. The apartment smelt of smoke, there were slippers in the middle of sitting area that belonged to someone else, the owner of apartment had his own laundry in the washing machine. I could close sorting area window as there was a cable going out from the window. ( considering the weather it's was extremely cold). I got to apartment and host has a very bed attitude from the very start. I checked in at around 5pm and couldn't stay there due to it being so dirty I left at 7.30pm. I could wash, or give my kids a wash it was a very horrible experience. I am truly disappointed and annoyed with the money that I paid. This is not even worth 1 star rating.
