The location is amazing. Very central and convenient. On one side up the hill you have a famous Cathedral and Valletta main streets, on the other side you have sea and a nice promenade with a few cafes and restaurants (we would really recommend trying Sally’s Port Pizzeria, just make sure you reserve a table in advance). Also, the main bus station and ferries are by 15minutes walk, so it’s easy to travel around the island from this location. The apartment has everything you need inside - full kitchen equipment, A/C (which is a life saver during summer holiday in Malta :))), washing machine with a dryer combined, Nespresso coffee machine, hair dryer, iron. They allowed us to check in as soon as the apartment was ready and it was really nice! We didn’t have to walk around with our backpacks for long since we got to Valletta really early in the morning. Overall, a really great choice for a city break!

Really low water pressure in the shower but I guess it’s the same everywhere since Valletta is old and historical city. Sofa bed was not very comfortable for sleeping. There were only 3 adapters for UK sockets, not entirely enough. And every socket has a button, so you have to remember to turn them on/off all the time.

I like the older style buildings, of which this is one, and the street itself. The lift worked, the internet speed and wifi connection was good. In the face of a water supply problem in the building, the host went over and above to achieve solutions.

Personally, I would have preferd a microwave cooker (and a toaster; I'm English !) to a washing machine and huge freezer.
