Excellent food. The meals were extensive. - even for Japan- and the service was superb. Spa facilities were also very good (we’ve been to many Onsen/hot springs).

Rooms do not have private bath. Family onsen is free for 1 section per day compensate for people who can’t accept public bath. Room with private onsen has indoor and outdoor 👍

Kurosawa is a beautiful little onsen village, and Kurokawaso is an excellent place. The private open air onsen was a splurge for me but delightful. Meals were seasonal, fresh, and v tasty.

Beautiful baths

The structure is old. You can see it, you can smell it (there are some spaces really smells like vintage). You can see it was probably the best structure in the aerea but it needs some renovations
