Great private living place to stay

Brilliant location, lovely hosts and a very nice and quaint cottage.

No complaints, the only small improvement I could suggest is the shower wasn't the best but it was all very clean and functional!

The property was very cosy and warm. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Tom was very friendly and welcoming.

We loved everything

This is such a comfortable little cottage with little touches of luxury and very friendly hosts. The location is so peaceful with a lovely river walk from the door and a great pub just across the village green. We intend to visit again in summer when we can take advantage of the double doors opening to the lovely garden terrace.

Lovely property, comfortable bed, nicely furnished and decorated, view out onto lovely garden. Very peaceful village - absolute silence at night. Good proportions, bedroom shower room and kitchen/living room all ideal for a short stay for a couple. Thoughtful provision of tea, coffee, milk, cooking oil, toiletries etc. Exactly what we wanted. Would like to spend more time here. Better value than an apartment in York.
