Firbog Nook

The cabin was comfortable and warm comfy bed, plenty of towels and shower gel/ hand soap. Perfect for a couple of nights.

It was all good, we didn't like the coffee choice, but that is just personal preference.

This was spotlessly clean, comfortable and the breakfast was generous.

Worries: the fire alarm was bleeping when we arrived on the Friday, on contacting the owner we were advised to remove it, which worked, but no alarm battery over the next 2 days. The unweildy sliding door to the bathroom was hard to manage and came off its runner. If we were older or frailer we might have ended up with a heavy door on top of us. Most worrying: power cable and socket to the kitchen toaster/kettle and microwave was taped to the wall and loose. On using all three we had to swop plugs and the whole thing moved and came away from the wall. Sure this is dangerous & breaks regulations?

Very safe and warm. Had everything I needed. Would defo recommend and stay again.

The location is a bit tricky to access aas the Sat nav takes you to a different place. I had to ask the neighbours.

Good location, good layout

Unfortunately previous guests were smoking and caused everything in the property to smell of smoke as a result windows were left open and the whole property was full of insects and spiders. In all fairness to Kate she did provide a partial refund and some of this was just very unfortunate

Extremely private and quiet location Cereal / milk / pastries all provided for breakfast All facilities were excellent, a real home from home Very well thought out cabin

The location was a bit far away from anything but that suited us just fine

Snacks in the nook, privacy, quiet, freedom to come and go. An inexpensive place to stay in an area of more expensive units.

No wifi, off the good roads.
