"Great accommodation in a lovely location"

10.0

Had a lovely three-night stay at Amble Harbour Retreats. Firstly, the hosts, Claire and Paul, are incredibly welcoming and friendly, and they really go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need, including excellent recommendations for local restaurants and places to visit. The room was immaculate and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Another great bonus is the beer garden attached to the property — a lovely sun trap where you can relax with a drink or a hot coffee after a day exploring. The location is perfect, situated right next to the harbour with a beautiful pier to walk along and enjoy the scenery. Amble itself is a wonderful town. Everyone is so friendly, and there are plenty of restaurants and cafés serving high-quality food. It’s an ideal base for exploring the surrounding coastline and countryside, with lots of walks, history, and attractions nearby. You’ll never be short of something to do. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Old fashioned and characterful, yet well kitted out and comfortable. Owners friendly and helpful. Great location right on the quayside yet quiet at night. We have visited Amble several times

"Amble Harbour Retreat- Perfect accommodation"

10.0

What an absolute brilliant find so close to the harbour and beaches locally. Accommodation was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We were there with our dog and made to feel so welcome. Clare and Paul are so nice and checked regularly to see if we needed anything. We had the studio which had its own secure place where we could sit with our dog. Just wish we had longer there as it was great. Great value for money. We would definitely use it again and recommend it to family and friends. Thank you Clare and Paul for giving us such a happy few days.

Not one thing and cannot fault it whatsoever.
