Noise from the main road.
AUThe house was beautifully presented and very clean. It was a great central location!
There was some road noise, however the host provided ear plugs to help reduce noise.

SGLocation, good base to enter Nakasendo, close to Tsumago, and less touristy. Oyado Katsu is on the beautiful Kiso River, starring at the historical wooden bridge (Momosukebashi, longest wooden suspension bridge in Japan). We also arrived at perfect time, when the town celebrated 100 year anniversary of Showa reign with fireworks. The fireworks station was in front of our balcony, cant get any better view than that.
There is no proper privacy curtain for the front sliding doors, which are facing the river, the bridge and the park on the other side of the river. Suggest to add privacy curtains for night time.
