Amara Suites are absolutely beautiful. The design is modern and classy with spacious well thought out rooms and communal areas. We spent 3 nights at Amara suites and it was an absolute dream. Demetrious and his wonderful family have a winning formula and have a unique way of making all of their guests feel like family. His wonderful wife cooks all of the food and it is clear to see how much love goes into making each delicious plate. Breakfast was such a treat every morning, incredible fresh ingredients and something different on each day. I would not hesitate to stay at Amara Suites again and will be recommending it to all of my family and friends. Whilst in Santorini we came across the saying “arrive as strangers leave as family” and this sums up exactly how we felt upon leaving Amara Suites. Thank you Demtrious and family for making our stay so special, we will be back.

Everything about this property was beautiful. The rooms, the breakfasts, the hospitality, the pool area and the area of Kamari. I would go as far as to say this was the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in & the friendliness shown to us by Dimitris, George & family was second to none. We were a large group of friends and the family went out of their way to serve us amazing breakfasts every morning (way more than we could eat), drive us to all of our day and night excursions & generally treat us like family at every moment. Also the bar serves really quality alcoholic drinks which was really important to us. Dimitris is a character and kept us laughing for the whole 5 days. We learned about his family, including his grandmother Amara who the hotel is named after. Every single one of our group of 9 has said they will be visiting Santorini again and that there is nowhere else they would stay than Amara suites. Thank you for the most wonderful holiday!

Quiet, clean, great food, friendly staff

A truly special and magical place. Exceptional hospitality from Dimitrios and family, creating a calm and relaxing environment. Our suite was lovely and comfortable, also great pool area. Food was fabulous, especially breakfast and the greek yoghurt was amazing! A great location, just a short walk to the beach, close to supermarket, cafes, bars and restaurants. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome and making us feel at home away from home. For anyone thinking about visiting Santorini, I highly recommend Amara Suites, and I can't wait to return.

Having to go home

Couldn’t have found a better place to stay for the end of our honeymoon. The most welcoming arrival, and the warm encounters continued throughout. All the reviews about the breakfast are true, each morning it was so delicious, and so was all the other food (we had the best Greek salad here out of everywhere we visited). Rooms are beautiful, really peaceful, pool is amazing, great location near the beach and Dimitris and his family couldn’t have been more accommodating or kind during our stay. Thanks so much and looking forward to returning!

It was all perfect!

Wauw, wat een geweldige plek! We hebben zó genoten van ons verblijf bij Amara Suites! Alles klopte gewoon. Het ontbijt was echt top — elke ochtend iets anders, maar altijd lekker: vers fruit, romige yoghurt, eitjes (elke dag anders bereid!), brood, iets zoets, thee en echt superlekkere koffie. We keken er elke dag naar uit. Het zwembad is heerlijk om even af te koelen, en het bad op het balkon was echt een droom. ’s Ochtends wakker worden of ’s avonds ontspannen met dat uitzicht… fantastisch! Ook de locatie is ideaal: lekker dicht bij het strand en restaurants, maar toch rustig. En wat dit verblijf echt bijzonder maakte: de mensen. Zó vriendelijk, zó behulpzaam — ze regelen alles voor je met een glimlach. Echt service met een hart. Wij zouden hier zó weer naartoe gaan. Absolute aanrader! Greetings from the baby ;)

This was my fourth stay in Kamari and Amara Suites is by far the best place we have stayed. From the moment we arrived and received a warm welcome from the owner, Dimitrios, we knew we were in the right place for a lovely relaxing break and felt part of his family right away. The whole place was immaculate. The rooms are well thought out and cleaned daily to an exceptionally high standard. The hot tub is a nice touch. The pool, bar areas, food and drinks are fantastic. Particularly breakfast by the pool, which was different every day. After a dust storm from the Sahara covered the whole island in an orange dust, the whole family staff team worked tirelessly to clean and get the place back to its best. Dimitrios is an amazing host who goes above and beyond to make your holiday extra special and with the help of his wife & talented chef, his son and other family members, you really couldn’t find a better place to stay in Paradise. We cannot wait to return

Literally everything. Dimitris and his family could not have been more welcoming. The hotel is beautiful and excellently maintained and cared for. It is exceptionally clean throughout and there if not one thing that we could fault. This is the fourth time we have visited Santorini and the Amara Suites are by far the best experience we have had. Don’t get me started on the breakfasts…..wow!!!
