Well, I can tell you the first night we arrived. There were a few deficiencies , but I can also tell you first thing in the morning. He was here and he fixed everything. The rest of the stay was absolutely 100% perfect and I would highly recommend people staying here. The location is great .I’ve got a lot of good things to say about this place. You can’t go wrong staying here .

Beautifully decorated boutique hotel in an old family house. Spacious rooms and well appointed with a little kitchen area, fridge, etc. The roof terrace was great for star gazing and the little pool was a very welcome place to plunge our feet after a hot walking tour of the town. The host speaks excellent English and was extremely helpful, particularly when El Mencho was killed and we needed some local travel information. There's plenty of street parking on a quiet street.

Location: The location was perfect for us. Within minutes, we reached the Santiago Neighborhood Park for the "Musical Memories" (Remembranzas Musicales) Tuesday tradition where locals gather to dance to live big-band music. Nearby were cafes, a convenience store and a full laundry service. We walked daily to the Plaza Grande for our self-guided tour of museums, historic buildings & places to eat. Anywhere else, Uber was an inexpensive option. Property: The neighbourhood was quiet. The room was cleaned daily. The kitchenette came in really handy for making tea & coffee. I liked that the shower has two options: a rain shower & a handheld, and that the shower pressure was good. The restoration of the building was true to the traditional style. The room’s high ceiling and spacious size were quite appealing. The air conditioning & climate control worked well. In terms of the queen size bed, our preference would have been for a firmer mattress, but it shouldn’t be considered a negative. We still enjoyed a good night sleep in a quiet neighbourhood.

Our stay was perfect. Juan was incredibly helpful and attentive and really takes pride in Casa Tunkul. The room was beautiful and spacious. It's only a short walk from the centre but still really peaceful at night. Highly recommended!

Peut être le manque de volets sur une fenêtre ( difficile quand on a le sommeil léger )
