Casa Tunkul

Large room and bathroom, good location

Wasn’t really clean, the shower was a big problem very hot or cold water and the shower head was broken. When we arrived the bathroom wasn’t really clean, the bin was full and the shower wasn’t clean.

Everything was just fabulous - the apartment, the location, cleanliness, Juan’s warm welcome, etc…

Clean, good location, very comfortable room and bed

The room is a mini apartment with everything you need- It’s stylish, comfortable and functional. The area is close enough to the action while maintaining a strong neighbourhood feeling.

De mooie inrichting, de locatie en de supervriendelijke host. Zelfs toen ik wat heb laten liggen is hij zo vriendelijk geweest het gelijk op de post te doen naar ons volgende hotel.

Not really a dislike but maybe putting a heat/sun fiilm on windows in front bedroom facing street.

We had a very special stay! Beautiful room, comfortable bed, walkable neighborhood. Highly recommended. Juan is a great host.

Unfortunately, we only spent one day at Casas Tunkul since we had to return to Mérida and fly out the next day. Otherwise, we would have loved to stay longer. Casas Tunkul is a beautiful place (excellent design and amenities) and also has a great location. It’s just a few minutes’ walk from the city center, very close to the airport, and nearby there are excellent cafés and restaurants. Juan is also an excellent host. We would definitely recommend Casas Tunkul.
