The house is gorgeous in a very peaceful neighborhood close to everything. Juan was amazing and always easy to reach and communicate with. I would definitely go back to Casa Tunkul 🤍

Die Unterkunft ist sehr neu, wunderschön eingerichtet und hat eine tolle Dachterrasse. Weil wie die einzigen Gäste waren, bekamen wir sogar ein Upgrade. Vielen Dank!

Wir hatten den Eindruck, dass bei der täglichen Zimmerreinigung lediglich die Mülleimer geleert und das Bett gemacht wurde. Der Boden oder das Waschbecken wurden hingegen nicht gereinigt, was uns aber nicht weiter gestört hat, da es bei unserer Anreise tadellos sauber war.

- stylish and huge apartment/room - nice host - super easy check-in - good kitchen facilities to prepare smaller meals/breakfast, have a coffee or tea, fridge - calm part of town, walking distance (about 10 min) from the centre

- a water dispenser for filling bottles would be great, also to avoid plastic bottles :) - the pool was quite dirty during my stay (probably also because of the wind / rain)

Perfect! Where do I begin. Stunning, modern design with so many thoughtful details—large, comfortable bed, high ceilings, tall wooden doors, kitchenette, breakfast table, ice machine, Nespresso Expresso machine with plenty of pods & teas, private bathroom, lovely toiletries, plenty of comfy towels, large smart tv. Exactly as pictured. The kitchenette was equipped with everything I needed to store & prepare meals for my fresh food lifestyle. Quaint, refreshing pool & outside loft area perfect for unwinding after excursions. Juan greeted my arrival with such kindness & walked me through instructions ensuring I completely understood everything. Easily walkable to nearby grocery stores & great exercise if you want to walk to Centro Historico, Paseo de Montejo or Plaza Grande. Aside from the living quarters being extremely comfortable, I felt very safe as a single traveler. This was a perfect base for my week long trip in the Merida area.

Stayed for 2 nights, nice big room. big bathroom. Clean, roof terrace,quiet. Parking on the road across. Very nice conversion of the old building.

It is not in the center, not so easy to get there with all small one-way roads. If you want to do trips from Merida by car, it's not so convenient. There is no permanent stuff- You communicate through whatsapp. The swimming pool from the photo is a big bathtub. A walk to get to breakfast, dinner, we didn't find anything around the corner.

Amazing location, very comfortable bed, the kitchenette was really nice, and the huge bathtub was fantastic after long days of walking & exploring. Very quiet house and felt very private. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, providing some great recommendations.

The exposed rock walls looked cool but it was disintegrating and dropping LOTS of dust and big chunks of rock and plaster onto the bed and night tables. The amount of plaster dust was really irritating to my respiratory system (although I am particularly sensitive). If this issue was fixed I would give this property a 10 star rating!!

The property was amazing - finished to a very high standard, and the facilities were perfect. It had absolutely everything, and the location was great, within walking distance to all of the main sights/locations. Juan was very helpful, and gave us lots of recommendations! I would highly recommend this property, it has been my favourite in Mexico so far!

Such a beautiful hotel, good comms with the host and even got upgraded as the other room was free! Bed was very comfortable - would highly recommend!
