Within 15 to 20 minutes walking distance to several parks. Some very good restaurants nearby (We highly recommend Chaya Maya!) The bed was comfortable and clean. Plenty of fluffy white towels. Nice small kitchen. The air conditioner+ dehumidifier were very helpful. There were a few small issues but our host Juan was very responsive and corrected everything immediately. He was delightful and made our stay very comfortable.

The outdoor furniture was very dusty and needed a wipe down before I could use it. The pool could use some attention... perhaps the filter is not working? If I had mentioned that issue I know Juan would have sent someone to correct that, but I didn't want to complain.

Fast WiFi, comfortable with fan, air con, and air purifier, fantastic shower with plenty of hot water and handheld wand (love this!), Nespresso machine, responsive owner who immediately responds to messages, great location in a safe, interesting, and charming part of Merida

Best accommodation we had in Mexico! It was so good and comfortable, we were excited to head back ‘home’ every night. It’s a spacious room/appartment with a beautiful interior, it was super clean, it had all you could think of - an ice cube machine, Nespresso machine, steamer for your clothes, cappuchino maker, kitchen utensils andddd Netflix!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Casa Tunkul in Mérida, Mexico, and I can’t say enough about how incredible the experience was! From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the beauty and charm of the property. The space is thoughtfully designed, blending modern comfort with the rich character of Mérida. My bedroom was absolutely perfect—spacious, beautifully decorated, and immaculately clean. The air conditioning was a lifesaver, keeping the space cool and comfortable after exploring the city. The location could not have been better—just minutes away from everything, making it easy to enjoy Mérida’s vibrant culture, restaurants, and historic sites. A special shoutout to Juan, who provided exceptional service throughout my stay! He was incredibly helpful, attentive, and made sure I had everything I needed to feel right at home. His hospitality truly elevated my experience. If you're looking for a stunning, comfortable, and conveniently located place to stay in Mérida, Casa Tunkul is an absolute gem. I can't wait to return!

Juan was very helpful and communicative throughout. The kitchenette was a welcome surprise so we could prepare some meals. The space was comfortable and well designed and location was perfect to explore Centro by foot.

The studio apartment was excellent. Everything you needed was right there. Excellent location and an incredibly helpful and kind host. Highly recommend staying here .

There was nothing I didn’t like about the apartment

The property is exactly as shown in the pictures—clean, tidy, and well-maintained. Its location is quite central, making it easy to explore the area. The host was exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, providing valuable tips on the best places to eat and visit nearby. His personal touch and warm hospitality made us feel truly welcome and grateful. I would wholeheartedly recommend staying here and would love to return in the future!

On a side note, the pillows were quite high, and it would be great to have some lower options for better neck support. Other than that, we have no complaints at all—it was a wonderful stay!
