Soorya Kala

Entering this house from the noisy street felt like stepping through the gates of paradise. We felt as though we were in our dream home, with a living area overlooking a magnificent pool and direct beach access. The rooms were exceptional, with a delightful cinnamon scent in the bathroom. Breakfast was delicious, and if the owner makes us a price offer, we'd love to discuss buying this house! :)

Amazing place.. definitely recommend. The staff are wonderful and exceptionally friendly. The breakfast was superb and the location of the accommodation was great, just in front of the coral reef. Will definitely come again :)

We stayed here for three nights and honestly wished we had booked longer, this place was absolutely lovely. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The location is also a standout: right on the beach and along the main road, yet still peaceful and picturesque. Breakfast each morning was excellent, with a great mix of traditional local options as well as Western choices. Another highlight was the view from our room. Being able to look straight out over the beach from the comfort of our room was special, and the upstairs lounge area offered the same beautiful outlook. We also loved seeing the resident squirrel frequently running through the trees and along the walls of the accommodation, a very cute and memorable touch. Overall, we would absolutely stay here again when visiting Hikkaduwa and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to friends.

We felt extremely will looked after, snorkeling in front of the house is spectacular. breakfast was very tasty , abdullah was always supportive as was the rest of the staff.

We miss a sunbed

Wow, what a special place to end our honeymoon trip to Sri Lanka. We absolutely loved our stay at Soorya Kala and would highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Sri Lanka. The hotel is absolutely stunning with an incredible sea view from the bedrooms and roof terrace. The rooms are beautifully decorated. The pool is also beautiful. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful with local recommendations. Finally, the breakfast was absolutely exceptional, the best we had in our 3 week trip. We appreciated the choice of a variety of Sri Lankan and Western options. We also enjoyed staying in Hikkaduwa, there was a good choice of restaurants which were walking distance from the hotel and enjoyed being able to walk along the beach from the hotel too. We are so pleased we chose to stay at Soorya Kala, we just wish we had stayed for longer!

Alles, sehr sauber, Mitarbeiter super freundlich, schließt man gleich ins Herz. Man hat sich von der ersten Sekunde wohl gefühlt. Der Stil, der Duft, die Einrichtung, wie gesagt einfach alles.

Мы отдыхали в этом мини-отеле компанией из 8 человек (5 взрослых и 3 детей) в течение недели. Понравилось абсолютно всё! Хоть мы и приехали поздно, нас встретил хозяин, всё показал и рассказал. Персонал просто прекрасный — очень дружелюбный и всегда готовый помочь в любую минуту. . Сам отель новый, с продуманным дизайнерским интерьером. В отеле всего 4 номера - так что мы заняли их все. в таком формате отель превращается в персональную виллу. На первом этаже кухня (не для гостей - там готовят завтраки ), санузел и просторная гостиная-столовая с выходом к бассейну. На втором этаже — два номера с огромным общим балконом с видом на океан. На третьем этаже еще два номера (без балкона, но тоже с видом на океан). А на крыше - чудесная открытая веранда великолепными видами на океан и закаты. Для всех гостей есть общий мини-холодильник и чайная станция. Отель и территория поддерживается в идеальном порядке. Завтраки были очень вкусными и обильными, всегда со свежими фруктами и разным соком каждый день. Завтрак по меню - есть и европейские, и шри-ланкийские блюда. Выбор есть, порции огромные. Расположение отеля для нас оказалось идеальным: выход с территории ведет прямо на пляж, где почти не бывает волн. Там же коралловый риф с разноцветными рыбками — мы ходили снорклить каждый день! В 10 минутах ходьбы находится пляж turtle beach с большими черепахами и маленькими акулами. Но там больше народа, купаться лучше возле отеля. Рядом с turtle beach брали уроки серфинга. Также недалеко от отеля железнодорожная станция - если захотите доехать до Галле форта или в Велигаму - это удобный вариант. Через дорогу — банк, а по соседству — различные рестораны, магазины, массаж, турагентства и тд Выражаем сотрудникам отеля огромную благодарность за их работу, помощь и советы. В общем, рекомендуем этот отель на все сто процентов!
