Tout d'abord si vous précisez le nom de l'auberge "Heritage hostel" à un chauffeur d'otaxi, il ne trouvera pas, l'adresse ni le nom ne correspondent sur googlemap. Il s'agit plutôt d'un appartement surchargé plutôt que d'une auberge. Les sanitaires dans le dortoir ainsi que la cuisine sont salles. Aucune intimité, va et vient permanent dans le dortoir du RDC sans que personne ne ferme la porte après son passage. Quand je suis arrivé vers 15h, on m'a présenté le lit mais il y avait déjà quelqu'un qui dormait dedans. On m'a précisé qu'il fallait attendre qu'il finisse sa sieste... Méfiez vous des photos sur le site où on voit le patron sourire avec les clients, ça sent plutôt le tiroir caisse. Ça n'est pas du tout l'esprit routard, ni la guesthouse qu'on fréquente habituellement en voyages car il ne s'agit pas que d'une adresse de voyageurs.

TZFRI stayed more than two weeks here I think ! Perfect place in muscat to enjoy it, with nice people always staying, very nice conversations and memories there ! Thanks to all of you

FRThe owner offered an airport pick up to me. We’ve discussed the details, but when I arrived to Muscat Airport nobody was waiting. The owner still was reachable on Whatsapp this time and told me to take a bus. (He didn’t mention anything about the forgotten pick up just casually told me to take the bus). I went to the Hostel with a cab I quickly hired, texted the owner again, he read that I’m arriving in a few mins by a cab, but he haven’t answered to me anymore. To my biggest surprise, nobody was waiting for me at the reception, either. Just someone was sleeping on the floor. It’s true that I arrived late, but the owner personally told me he’ll send me a driver and check me in. I waited 45 mins at the entrance, maybe someone arrives or wakes up, but nothing happened, so I left and found a real accomodation nearby… It was a very bad start of my Oman trip and a very irresponsible action of Heritage Hostel.
