Room wss comfortable, clean, with high quality linen and towels

Breakfast was okay, but my friends was woefully inadequate. Half a tomato and approx 4 small mushrooms sliced up, and 1 piece of toast, leaving him still hungry. We booked a twin room as we are just good friends and do not, nor want to, share a Bed !!.however, the room had a double bed when we arrived ,even though this was sorted out very quickly, it was a little embarrasing as we are not a Couple. We have both travelled to many parts of the UK and Europe both professionally and as friends, to Hotels that exceeded, or met our expectations, the Forss house Hotel did not

gepflegtes historisches Anwesen. Sehr freundliches Personal. Abendessen sehr gut, etwas teuer aber sehr empfehlenswert. Frühstück aussergewöhnlich umfangreich.

De cottages bieden veel privacy en liggen naast een waterval.

Het diner is vrij duur, maar je krijgt waar voor je geld.

Lovely rooms, clean and spacious. Fantastic service. Quality food.

The location is not especially near to anything for a short stay - we think we would have gotten more from the location with a longer stay to explore the amenities.

In de cottage waren een aantal onderhoudspunten nodig. Losse planken e.d. De prijzen voor eten en drinken vond ik echt buitensporig.
