Lovely location. Good breakfast in the main

Dreadful greeting when we arrived. Staff looked stressed. Rooms were made up wrongly and the heating was far too warm in rooms. Wasn’t enough staff at work clearly and any simple request felt like it was a real difficult ask for them to address One staff member challenged our booking and stated we hadn’t booked what we asked for. We provided the emails to demonstrate that we had asked for what the hotel didn’t initially provide. They then agreed we were right after making a fuss that they were correct. Unnecessary bad feeling in first 5 minutes that could and should have been easily diffused

We rented one of the cottages by the waterfall- the sound of water was so relaxing. Bed was very comfortable- the house is just exceptional

The property has lots of character with a really nice whisky bar and the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The restaurant food was well presented and of a good standard if pricey.

Our room was tired and in need of some decoration. The furniture was pretty worn and in need of replacement.

Tolles ländliches stilvolles Hotel

The beds were super comfortable and the room was nicely remodeled. I felt that they had some nice modern touches with charging outlets and the colors on the room were soothing.

The hotel is under renovation and there is some painting and other work being done. Just makes it feel like a cheaper property when they are in fact charging (what I think) a substantial rate.

Cadre magique, exceptionnel. Confort impeccable. Repas 4 étoiles. Service irréprochable avec le sourire du personnel.

The location, staff and food was amazing .. Added to the most amazing whisky bar with phenominal staff knowledge

Superb ‘fishing themed’ old fashioned style hotel in a lovely setting, with wonderful staff. A rare find in these days of corporate modern boxes.

Friendly staff. Quiet. We were in the Mill House and had lovely views of the waterfall from our windows. Our dinner was superb.
