Quiet, peaceful and comfortable. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We had a garden room and the natural life was amazing!

We didn’t eat in the property as we felt it was expensive. A choice of a none 3 course meal would have been better. The NC500 can be very tiring and Often you just want to eat and sleep.

The rooms we stayed in were fabulous, my friend and I were given 2 rooms in millers cottage and both were beautiful and the arrangement suited us perfectly. It had a private entrance with one room upstairs and one downstairs. The upstairs room had a separate sitting area and the downstairs had an exit out to the side of the river (plus the most lovely bathroom). Staff were also really helpful and friendly, we didn’t eat in the hotel but we went for a drink in the evening. The lounge was warm and cosy and service was perfect.

Peaceful area

It was a bit worn off, not a 4*standard, for instance flaking paint on bathroom ceiling

A beautiful hide-away. Great staff and the room was lovely - the bathroom was spectacular.

Bed was a little too soft for our personal preference, but everything else was perfect.
