Lovely owners, very helpful, close for Kosi Bay just very sandy, bumpy roads but all around there similar

Nicoline & Phillip are fantastic hosts and so accommodating. Their Gourmet burgers are an absolute must. They are completely off grid, so even with power interruptions, you feel no impact - an absolutely winner in the Kosi Bay heat! Chalets are roomy, clean with a rustic feel (yet still modern) and with everything you need to make your stay super comfortable. Just bring yourself, clothes, food (or eat in) & own swimming towels. Nicolene & Phillip are avid travellers themselves and thus have catered to what they would expect if they were staying somewhere. The atmosphere is relaxed - compared to other lodges in the area that have constant hustle and bustle of people and activities (that can sometimes just make your holiday feel more taxing), Umusa is pure relaxation. Well located (10mins from Sans Park Office, 15 Minutes from Manguzi, 30 Mins from the river mouth) and located near all the other lodges should you wish to day visit.

Great Value for money, a home away from home. Philip and Nicolene were great hosts. We enjoyed our tranquil stay away.

The breakfast fantastic. The location was great for us nature lovers.

They could have cold water and ice in the fridge.
