Keadue Holiday Cottage

Very quite place. There is everything you need for your holiday. 2 smart tv, wi-fi. Very clean as well. Within a short driving distance there are beautiful beaches. Lovely walk on the old train rail way.

I’m struggling to find something that I liked about this property other than it has the potential to be a really nice cottage to stay in

The drive into the cottage was down a narrow road and entrance is not at all lit up. We arrived in early evening and there was no sign indicating the cottage was there other than eircode. A derelict house greets you on arrival with cottage behind this. The driveway was not kept well, debris around the ground. The cottage was damp and smelled badly. The electric storage heating was turned on when we arrived however windows were left open. I imagine this cottage had not been used for quite a while. The heaters only barely managed to take the damp cold out of the air. My partner and I had to sleep fully clothe it was so cold. The bathroom was dirty and grubby, old musty towels left out. Bed linen wasn’t much better. This cottage has the potential to be so quaint and beautiful in the right hands, sadly it’s not a place I would ever recommend to anyone

Lovely area, house had everything you needed!

Super location as beside the Burtonport railway walk/cycle route. A lovely quiet spot and, while basic, was clean and met all our needs. Also just a short drive to local supermarkets

The area for parking was a little tight. Good reversing skills required!

Very reasonably priced. Accommodation was clean, very comfortable, good location not far from beaches and town but was quiet and peaceful. All the facilities were great. Communication was excellent and non intrusive from the owner. Lovely touch with a bottle of wine awaiting our arrival, very much appreciated. The accommodation is fresh from renovation and is completed to a high standard.

I would have liked better weather but that's Ireland!! Would have loved to have stayed longer.
